Container Gardens
Container Gardens
Container Gardens are perfect for small spaces where a traditional garden is not feasible. They provide most of the benefits of a small garden without the hassle.
With a little extra preparation and planning, nearly anything can grow in containers, even those fruits and vegetables that typically require larger growing areas.
Container grown vegetables, fruits and herbs yield a smaller crop than those grown in kitchen gardens, but they grow anywhere – driveways, patios, decks, porches, balconies or hanging from various locations.
Container gardens are a great way to teach children about gardening and growing food at home or in a school setting. Small containers of homegrown fruits, vegetables and herbs make great gifts for family or friends.
Questions, comments and suggestions are always welcome.
