Every year you try to capture the holiday celebrations with friends and family but somehow, the shots just don't turn out like you thought they would. If you're going to make the holiday trek to be with them, you want decent photos, right?
Digital Photography School has a great article at their website titled "16 Digital Photography Tips for Christmas" that offers easy-to-follow ideas on how to capture photos you'll be proud to share and display.
Better yet, a lot of these can be adapted to shooting photos of your travels as well.
Reading through the article gave me a lot of ideas for future shots. I think my favorite tip is #3 - "Set up a DIY ‘Photo Booth’," where the author talks about setting up a camera on a tripod with a self-timer to allow people to just snap photos similar to a photo booth. I can just imagine how much fun this would be to do - and the photos I'd get! Marvelous!
Take a gander at the article and let me know what you think.
