Ireland Air and Land $699

The "Emerald Package" includes roundtrip air from New York City or Boston to Shannon, Ireland, one night in a hotel in Shannon, five additional nights in your choice of over 450 farmhouse B&Bs and a week's rental in an economy car, manual transmission.

You can upgrade the package in any number of ways, for an additional cost. You can fly into Dublin instead of Shannon for an additional $20. You can upgrade to an automatic transmission rental car for approximately $400 more. You can even upgrade from farmhouse B&Bs to the B&Bs in the Town & Country chain. Additional air gateways in the US are also available, but they will price higher.

This package rate is valid for travel through the end of February 2007. However, for a week in Ireland, this is a great deal, especially since air alone this time of year prices out to $500 or more. Once March rolls around, the package rate jumps to $849 per person.
