Christmas Cams Worldwide
- Take a look at Christmas at the White House with your special guide Barney. And you can view last year's video here.
- One of the most popular icons in the US is the Rockefeller Plaza Christmas tree. Courtesy of New York's WNBC, you can watch the Rockefeller Tree cam.
- Head over to Germany to see the Nuremberg Christkindle's Market web cam. You can even move the camera around to get a panoramic view.
- Check out the City of Lights as Paris, France, celebrates the holidays with a variety of web cams.
- Back in the US, the HoJo in Anaheim has a webcam trained on Disneyland. Tune in nightly to see the park light up with Christmas decorations and fireworks.
- And if you really feel like getting interactive, you can visit Alex's in Colorado, where he has all of his Christmas decorations and lights connected to buttons on his website. Yes, YOU can control the lights and anything else mechanical with the click of a button. New this year is the christmas webcam has PAN and ZOOM capability that you can also control. The webcam and webcontrol demo are ONLY operational between 5pm and 10pm Mountain Time. Each web surfer can only update the webcam 10 times, change the lights 3 times, and play with the pan/zoom 5 times, within 5 minutes. Have fun...annoy the neighbors.
- Or you could just play with the switches at Drive Me Crazy, where they even have a set of Christmas lights set up to annoy the inhabitants of the house.
So if you're near a computer during the holidays, consider doing a bit of virtual traveling around the world with these links. If you have any faves that I didn't mention, let me know.
