Breast Cancer

I recently had my regular 2 year mammogram, my results were good as expected I do my monthly self-examination regularly. In fact every woman should realize how important these test and examinations are.

All women are at risk of getting breast cancer and as you age your risk increases. The ratio right now is that on the average one in seven will get breast cancer over a 90 year life span.

Brest cancer is a growth of irregular cells within the breast. It is not one disease but a group of diseases that can develop in any part of the breast.

In next weeks article I will give you more information on how you can prevent or get early diagnosis to stop you from being one of the above statistic.
