My preschooler is 4 and 1/2, as he will proudly tell anyone who dares to call him only 4! Being the third child, he has always been anxious to claim his rightful place in all things, including school!
Homeschooling the preschooler can be fun, but sometimes overwhelming. Especially when you are moving back and forth between different learning levels. Be sure to check out my article on Homeschooling the Preschooler.
In the meantime, Jonathan and I wanted to pass on our favorite sites for preschoolers and moms of preschoolers!
Brightly Beaming Resources has a great preschool curriculum.
First-School has a lot of preschool themes, teaching ideas, and color pages. It also has pop-ups, though, so be aware!
Looks like Everything Preschool has recently updated their webpage! Contains preschool teaching ideas, color pages, crafts, etc...
Star Fall is about reading. It has some fun reading readiness activities for preschoolers. Bright and always interesting!
This is a great link with a lot of tips for keeping preschoolers occupied and interested in homeschool! This is where I got my idea for the "While I Wait" box (see my article, "Homeschooling the Preschooler").
Another site with lots of preschool themes and ideas.
50 Birds is a site my color-happy preschool has long loved. Beautiful bird and animal color pages.
Have fun!
