With the holidays almost upon us I wondered what types of gifts would be high atop the list of adolescent and teen lists this year.

A quick survey of middle schoolers around the nation yielded the following:

Ipod

Xbox, Wii, PS3

Games for the above systems

Itunes gift cards

Iphone

headphones

For those parents new to the teen years, you have just entered the realm of fewer, high priced shopping items. Try this with your kids, "This year we are cutting back. You can choose one big item."
