Hello, we have posted three new articles in the past week on this little known but very interesting part of military history.

The second article covers the ground war in which the mismatched opponents duked it out with a suspiring outcome.

The last of the series covers the all important air war. Flying planes that were considered more relic than combat aircraft Honduran and El Salvadoran pilots battled maintenance and supply problems as well as themselves to decide the outcome of the conflict. The air battles could not have been more evenly matched as in several instances the pilots on both sides flew the same model and type of aircraft!
