Pets and Houseplants

Hi everyone!

As you know I love houseplants, but I also have two cats that I love dearly. I'm fortunate that they pretty much ignore my houseplants, but some are not so lucky. To keep both plants and pets safe, first check out my article on toxic houseplants and if you have any on the list, keep them up and out of reach of curious cats and dogs. For tips on keeping cats from getting into your houseplants and/or munching on them, check out my latest article.

Giving your cat a pot of grass really does work. My cats love to nibble on theirs and play with the long blades of grass. :-)
