Hi everyone, I’m back online! I disappeared thanks to the loss of my DSL connection. I live in a nearly 50 year old brownstone and the wiring is all original. You can guess what that means. Apparently the old wires finally gave out and we had to have the phone wiring completely redone. Once that was done, a nasty thunderstorm rolled through and promptly knocked it out again. Luckily it wasn’t our fault this time-a bolt of lightning hit the phone pole. All is back to normal now, thankfully!
Thanks to my generous wedding guests, I found myself with a bit of extra money, so I splurged and bought a huge golden pothos from the grocery store. It’s in a 12 inch pot and looks great in my living room window! That makes my pothos collection an even half dozen. I have 3 golden pothos, 2 satin pothos, and a neon pothos. The neon is looking pretty sad these days after being accidently overlooked by my plant waterer while I was on my honeymoon. I think it’ll survive, but if not, it’ll give me a great excuse to go plant shopping again!
I posted 2 new articles this week and I hope you’ll check them out. One answers some of the many questions I get from readers, and the other is all about plants even black thumbs can grow, Let me know what you think by dropping by our discussion area or sending me an email!
“A garden requires patient labor and attention. Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfill good intentions. They thrive because someone expended effort on them. “
