I'm so confused . . . what is the deep sociopolitical significance of a hippopotamus with noodles on his back? Is there a Freudian aspect to all of this? Some deep psycho-sexual resonance? Do the tangled noodles represent the cultural and emotional baggage we all must carry with us through our daily lives? Does the hippopotamus' cheerful acceptance of his constant weight of pasta signify his refusal to examine his psyche or does it show a willingness to achieve integration between his self, anima and shadow states?
Or maybe it's just a song about a hippopotamus with noodles on his back. Either way, check it out here.
