Yvonne Ng of tiger princess dance projects and Kathleen Rea of REAson d'etre productions team up to present Scarlet's Room and VIVID. As established choreographers in the Toronto contemporary dance scene, Ng and Rea, friends, will present their combined talents in these two programs at the Winchester Street Theatre.
Scarlet's Room, composed of three surreal dance pieces, reflects contemporary Asian identity and a cross-cultural aesthetic.
VIVID 2006 includes the world premiere's of Rea's IRE and sift by Travis Birch (Co>Lab), and Blue, a short solo performed and choreographed by Barbara Pallomina.
Kathleen Rea's IRE, explores aggression that surfaces as positive and negative aspects of people's lives.
