Morocco is an exotic land of contrasts and colour, from the snowy peaks of the Atlas to the blue waters of the Atlantic, from the lush palm-fringed oases to the shifting dunes of the desert. Marrakech, Fes or Rabat, you find imperial cities with fabulous palaces and gardens, Berber mud villages growing out of the land and fine beaches shimmering for ever under the African sun.
Morocco is a year round destination where you can stay in modern hotels or traditional riads, feast on tagine and couscous and bargain for authentic handicrafts in the souks. Those in search of adventure ride camels into the desert, trek across rugged mountains or head for the ocean surf.
After a long day shopping or lying on the beach, you can treat yourself in a local hammam or enjoy the health-restoring properties of argan oil, followed by a cool glass of Moroccan mint tea.
