Help for Bulgarian Businesses

Kiva (www.kiva.org)is an organization that lends to small businesses in developing countries. Several business owners in Sliven, Bulgaria, are in need of loans to sustain, maintain, start, and run their own businesses in Bulgaria. Some are Roma, others are of the mainstream population, but all are trying to take care of themselves, their families, and their futures. Meet some of the people who are in need of assistance, and donate to them, or other small business owners around the world:

• Zeira Smailova Cherkezova: A Roma woman who runs a clothing retail business
• Fana Mihkalova Atansova: Another Roma woman who runs a grocery business in Sliven
• Ivan Kirilov Shopov: Ivan needs money to purchase a used taxi for his business
• Toncho Pavlov Petrov: Toncho wants to expand his electronics retail and repair shop in Sliven
