Injecting subcutaneous (Sub-Q) fluids can be scary at first, although it becomes relatively easy with time and experience. There is also a Feline Chronic Renal Failure Support Group through which cat owners who have had extensive experience dealing with CRF offer educational, technical, and emotional support to newcomers.
