Suite 101's Barbara Doyen (writing fiction) has compiled an excellent resource on how to start a book club, with information on how to set up the club, what books to choose, and how to set an agenda.
Mystery fans might want to concentrate on one genre, such as true crime or classic mysteries, or one author, such as Agatha Christie or John le Carre. Recent mystery releases which lend themselves particularly well to discussion include Stephen King's Lisey's Story, Le Carre's The Mission Song, and Richard North Patterson's Exile.
