Quill Awards Nominate Best Mystery Novels

The nominees are:

  • Michael Connelly: The Lincoln Lawyer (Little Brown)
  • Arthur Conan Doyle: The New Annotated Sherlock Holmes (Norton)
  • Harlan Coben: Promise Me (Dutton)
  • Elizabeth Peters: Tomb of the Golden Bird (Morrow)
  • Janet Evanovich: Twelve Sharp (St. Martin's Press)

Readers can vote for their favorite on the Quill Awards website. Voting continues until September 30. The awards will be presented at a dinner ceremony in New York City on October 10.

The Quill Awards are a joint project of Reed Business Publications and NBC Universal. The awards reward writers in 19 categories, including mystery/suspense/thrillers, chosen by the public. Last year's mystery award winner was Janet Evanovich for Eleven on Top.
