National Book Festival - Sept. 29

This year's event is being held September 29. The festival's host is First Lady, Laura Bush and events include 70 guest authors, interactive family exhibits, lots of booksellers, readings and autographs, and exhibits about libraries and reading programs throughout the United States.

Among the mystery authors attending will be:

  • David Baldacci, author of the recent Simple Genius
  • Joyce Carol Oates
  • Carolyn Hart, whose most recent mystery was Set Sail for Murder
  • Lisa Scottoline
