2007 Edgar Award Winners Announced

The awards, which are named after the first mystery writer, Edgar Allen Poe, recognize writers in the mystery fiction genre. The 2007 awards ceremony was hosted by Grand Master Stephen King. The winners include:

Best Novel: The Janissary Tree by Jason Goodwin

Best First Novel: The Faithful Spy by Alex Berenson

Best Paperpack Original: Snakeskin Shamisen by Naomi Hirahara
