4th of July Celebrations
4th of July or Independence Day in the United States is "a federal holiday celebrating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain." (Wikipedia) Patriotic displays, picnics, parades, fireworks shows, and musical concerts will be the order of the day.

Busch Gardens Europe Fireworks Extravaganza, Williamsburg, Virginia.
Stars and Stripes Explosion, Virginia Beach, VA. Symphony music and the annual oceanfront fireworks extravaganza, launched from a barge off of 20th Street. This fireworks presentation may be viewed anywhere along the boardwalk at the conclusion of the concert (9:30pm).
Raleigh, NC State Fairgrounds - All day activities and one of the state's largest fireworks displays.
