Host a Healthy Summer BBQ

You've invited friends and family over for a get-together, but you're concerned about the temptations of the typical BBQ fare. But you don't have to let your guests down or blow your calorie intake for the day to have a successful meal.

By making healthy choices and modifying your usual BBQ fare you and your company can enjoy the meal. Forget hamburger and hot dogs. Instead, throw some salmon, tenderloin or chicken breasts on the grill. Pair with grilled veggies and plain sweet potatoes. Add salad greens on the side to complete the meal.

Looking for a sweet ending? Grilling caramelizes the natural sugar in fruit, creating a yummy and healthy treat.
