Fat Smash Diet Phase 2

If you survived phase one of Dr. Ian's Fat Smash diet, first of all, you deserve a big pat on the back. Now you can enter phase 2 of his detox plan. You'll be happy to know you can eat a little more variety this week. Not much more because you will be slowly adding foods back into your diet, but this week won't be as hard as the first 9 days.

Here's what you can add:

-2 pcs wheat bread per day

-1.5 cups of dry cereal (sensible, high fiber, low sugar varieties)

-.5 an avocado

-1 oz of cheese

-1 whole egg

.5 cup of hot cereal

-Up tp 4 tsp of suger or sugar substitue

-Up to 4 tsp of salt

-2 diet sodas

-10 oz of coffee

-8 oz of fresh fruit juice

-2 tsp of peanut butter

-3 to 4 oz of lean meat

So there you have it! The best part is that you can add the protein back into your diet, which gives you a lot more flexibility. Now, by adding lean meats we aren't talking steak. Use lean cuts of chicken, turkey and fish.

Phase 2 follows the same basic principles as phase 1 with 4-5 small meals spaces out throughout the day. The only other difference is to increase your exercise to 35 minutes/ 5 times per week.
