Halloween is a time of many temptations. Attending parties can be rough when you are trying to lose weight. The best thing you can do is stay away from the goodies and make a conscious effort to mingle, meet new people, participate in Halloween fun, but avopid the food as much as possible.
No official parties planned? Don't let your guard down. This time of year every place there are people that gather there will be food. From office parties to church pot-lucks --- food is everywhere. Having one treat might not ruin your diet, but if you were to have a little something at each get-together or pig out at just one party, you coudl cause yourself a setback that might have you spiraling out of control.
Do your best to make healthy choices at every party and every meal. An apple is much healthier than a glass of apple cider and way better than a donut. So think twice about each choice before you sink your teeth into it.
