Doing the same thing day after day will get you the same results. But if your goal is to lose weight, you'll need to mix things up to see better results. Though walking is a great way to get started on a weight loss plan, it is a good idea to check out other machines and activities once your body has adjusted to exercise again.
Changing one particular area of your life isn't going to do much for your long-term goals either. Hanging out with your same old eating buddies will make it very difficult to stay on the right track. Find ways to meet new people with similar interests or goals.
You don't need to climb a mountain or become a surgeon overnight to see results, but you do need to step up your game at whatever point you're at now. You must be willing to change across the board to see the maximum benefits. Enjoy the mini victories and small changes that take place along the journey.
