World AIDS Day is just a little more than a month away. While that may seem like a long time, many organizations and groups are already in the process of developing activities for that day.
I have been participating in World AIDS Day activities for five years now, and really look forward to this day. It is a time to remember the vast number of people who are living with HIV, mostly in the developing world. Many groups organize a vigil to remember those who have passed away from AIDS.
This year, I would like to challenge everyone to find some way to participate in World AIDS Day. Even a simple act, like wearing a red ribbon, is a great way to help draw attention to this important issue.
