Trying New Things

When was the last time you tried a new mixed media art project? When was the last time you experimented with a different medium? When was the last time your read up on new avenues in mixed media art?

I admit, I have not tried a new mixed media art project or technique in quite some time. I write frequently about new projects for others to try, most of which I have done myself. However, there are quite a few new technique I would like to learn and new projects I would like to tackle?

What is stopping me? My inner critic shouts in my ear frequently, which most artists know is difficult to ignore. I will, though. I will work on new projects and I will try new techniques before this year ends. That is my goal and it will be accomplished. Is this a goal you would like to accomplish, as well?
