I've been an Internet addict since 1994. When I first heard the words Yahoo! and Google, I had no idea what a wealth of information I would be falling upon. And, when I learned I could build my own website containing links to all my favorite resources . . . well, let's just say I was like a kid in a candy store!
Lately, though, my sights have been set on something else . . . books and magazines. For a variety of reasons, the number one being collage materials, I've been saving and collecting magazines since 2003. Not only about arts, crafts and scrapbooking -- but also about anything else that hold my interest. Before, you'd find me savouring these resources online. Today, I have baskets over-flowing with what I consider priceless treasures.
Books have also been catching my eye. I've been finding books wtih such beautiful graphics and how-to's that dive deeper than the typical beginning styles and methods found in most books I had been coming across. I had been bored with seeing the same thing over and over again that I almost wrote off books as a useful means for inspriation and information. I'm so glad I didn't close my eyes on this avenue!
Each month, I'll be reviewing some of these wonderful resources -- Internet sites, books and magazines. I don't want to leave anyone out! There's too much to see, to learn and to experience! I'm very interested in learning what you use most for tools, so please contribute to the discussions as much as possible. Thank you!
