Filling Walls With Canvases: Blanks Canvases on Blank Walls

I’ve been talking a lot about how I’m going to be embellishing the walls in my office and studio space quite a bit lately. I’m doing this for a couple of reasons:

  1. To keep myself organized (and prevent myself from forgetting exactly what I want to do where)
  2. I’m REALLY excited to get these plans into action
I’m going to head out tomorrow and purchase pieces of stretched canvas in a variety of shapes and sizes. Opposite of the wall I plan to place a collage of picture frames, I’m going to hang the blank canvases. Some of them will be left white, and some of them will be painted the same silver color as the trim of the room. Whenever I’m ready to being a new piece of work, I’ll simple pick off a piece of canvas. Who knows, maybe some of them will stay blank for good because that’s the way their meant to be? I have thoughts about mixing the pieces of canvas in with the picture frames and spreading this look on all of the walls. As you can see, the plans are still jumbled up in this little brain of mine. Needless to say, I can’t wait for tomorrow to come so I can finish painting the trim and get this room put together!
