I've been experimenting with a discussion thread here meant to inspire, or spark, creativity:
The goal, of course, it to update this discussion thread with a word or phrase for artists to use as a jumping point for a piece of art, an art journal page, or an altered book spread.
For me, these sparks have been influencing both my paper writing journal, as well as my art journal. These sparks are meant to lead to the completion of a finished work, but rather brainstorm through something that could lead an artist out of a block or stir them in a direction that hadn't explored yet.
Has this worked for me?
Yes, and I think it's beneficial to all mixed media artists to explore their creativity and challenge their work in new directions. If one word can spark work, then that's great. If it takes more than one word (a phrase, a quotation, a passage), I'm open to posting these upon request. I'm here to serve your muse however needed, so feel free to contact me (or post comments in the thread) anytime.
