Already Almost 2009!

I was thinking earlier about why this year went by so quickly in comparison to other years (or why it seemed to, that is). So much happened this year in our personal professional lives, resulting in so many changes all around. We all grew, evolved, and matured in new and exciting ways that have touched just about every part of our lives.

It’s interesting to think back on everything . . .

• The kids are growing so fast and developing so many interests.
• We moved in our nephew and became his guardian.
• I finished writing my first book, and then started and finished writing my second book.
• My fiancé is growing his side business with his partner rapidly.
• I’ve been reconnecting with a LOT of friends from school.

It’s been SO busy around here with so much. This year will be no exception. We’re both growing our businesses, the kids are further developing their interests in such exciting ways, and our home is continuing to evolve in very exciting ways. It feels like everything is clicking into place exactly was it should.

So, why am I still contemplating things that I feel still should change? Nothing is perfect, nor will it ever be. There are small tweaks here and there that are necessary, one of which I talk about often – art. That will click into place just like everything else. I can’t force the time to present itself – it will when it’s ready.
