Joey Fatone, who’s best known as a member of *NSync, has said he “might appear” on “Dancing with the Stars” when the fourth season begins in early Spring 2007. Joey mentioned that he’s been asked to hoof it on the series before. Now, it’s ‘big enough’ for him to consider putting on his dancing shoes and “silly tux” for. (Hehe!)

Rumors have run rampant that Fergie – not the Black Eyed Peas’ singer – wants to do the show too. Sarah Ferguson, aka the Duchess of York, might be bringing some royalty to the mix. Jennifer Aniston is also a fan of the series and some ‘sources’ have mentioned she wouldn’t mind donning some spandex for the reality show.

ABC hasn’t confirmed or denied any of these reports. They’ll release a list of participating celebs soon after the New Year we’re sure.

In other DWTS news, the tour from the third season begins today – December 20th, 2006. It’ll go through February 2007 and hit a bunch of locales throughout the US including Philadelphia, Atlanta and Tampa. Sara Evans, who left the show in October after filing for divorce, will join Drew Lachey, Lisa Rinna, Harry Hamlin, Joey Lawrence and the rest when the tour hits Nashville in mid-January.
