Tiffany Patterson, aka New York, the divalicious beauty behind some of the most infamous moments in reality TV ever, is really getting her own show. Oh yes! I Love New York, a series in which this two-time loser on Flavor of Love gets a chance to find her own knight in shiny armor, debuts on Vh-1 January 8, 2007 at 9pm EST. I can't wait - and I'm not terribly embarrassed to admit it. Anymore.

Promos for the series promise more of the drama, tears and arguments we've come to expect from Miss Patterson and her equally dramatical moms, Miz Michelle. Miz Michelle will play a bigger role in this series than she did on Flavor of Love. Again, I can't wait.

For those of you with broadband internet connections who can't wait for the premiere, you can watch the full season premiere on January 2nd on the VSPOT at VH1.com.

* * *

Flav, the dude who jilted New York not once but twice, says he hasn't completely ruled out doing a Flavor of Love 3. According to this chat he had with the peeps at Crave Music, he and Dee haven't actually started dating yet. If the chemistry is good, "There will be no reason for a Flavor of Love 3. If it just so happens that the chemistry isn't good, I was not trying to really do a Flavor of Love 3, but - you know what? - I might still consider it."

Oscar "Ozzy" Lusth. He's one of the top reality TV hunks of all time. The handsome waiter, who made hearts flutter and scared his competitors on Survivor: Cook Islands, may not have won the million dollars on the finale, but...he's doing just fine.

Ozzy, in this interview with Stacy Krause at IGN TV, talks about how Survivor just sort of 'fell into his lap.' He also mentions that he didn't watch the show when it first came out. "At that stage in my life I kind of shied away from television. I didn't watch much TV at all. Just go surfing and skateboarding and hang out in nature with my dog and read and go to school and stuff."

When asked about the racial divide, Ozzy says that he felt it would make things harder initially because people would expect his tribe to get along just "because we were all Latino." He also discusses how Billy was a "dangerous player". He had a lot of Survivor knowledge and "was playing both sides against each other."

Ozzy wishes the series would've shown him with more than one dimension. They neglected his social game. However, he admits that maybe "I just was spending too much time fishing and enough time politicking."

For those of you wondering, Ozzy does indeed have a girlfriend. He also wants to act and build skateparks in Mexico (according to Reality TV Magazine) to channel youngsters' energy in a positive direction. Awww!

No matter what the future holds for Ozzy, I'm sure we'll see more of him. If you wanna check him out on the web, visit his myspace page at:

FYI: The ugly, Freddy-Kruger-like sweater that Ozzy wore on the Reunion show was a 'last-minute' decision. He had another shirt on, but it had a logo and the producers wouldn't let him wear it.

First, LaToya decided to strap on a gun for CBS’s Armed & Famous. Wacko Jacko’s look-alike sis is currently filming the series in Muncie, Indiana with Jack Osbourne, a reality TV alum himself, Erik Estrada, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, a member of the Jackass screwball crew, and former WWE wrestler, Trish Stratus. The ‘celebs’ will undergo police training. After that, they’ll get their guns and badges and hit the streets of Muncie, a Midwestern town with a population of about 70,000. The show premieres on CBS on January 10, 2006 at 8pm EST.

Now, Brother Michael, who split the US for a bit after being cleared on his latest round of molestation charges, might be considering selling his Neverland Ranch on Reality Television. According to sources, “Michael needs the cash – and fast.” Bravo’s Million Dollar Listings: Hollywood could provide the answer he needs. The series would get exclusive rights to Neverland and give viewers an inside look into the palatial digs. It would also bring Michael some much-needed moola upfront.

Of course, his spokesperson, Raymone K. Bain denied this rumor outright. He said, “Reports that Mr. Michael Jackson is seeking to sell his Neverland Valley Ranch in California on the Bravo television network’s reality show, ‘Million Dollar Listing,' are totally untrue and ludicrous and yet another malicious attempt to damage Mr. Jackson’s character and misrepresent his financial affairs.”

Personally, I’m not sure what to believe. I’ll leave it up to you. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if Neverland Ranch was put up on the market someday. I wouldn’t be shocked if I saw it being done on reality TV either. Nothing Jacko does could shock me anymore.

Project Runway finalist, Laura Bennett, sure has been a busy bee. The gal is working hard on creating her first clothing line and recently found time to give birth to her sixth child. She really makes me, a mom of two who can barely find time to breathe, feel ill. However, I must say I am in awe of this superwoman.

Her son, Finn, was born on Friday, December 1st. The eight pound bundle of joy was a week late. He is the fifth son for Laura and her husband, Peter. Laura also has an 18 year-old daughter from a previous marriage.

In other reality TV baby news, Anna Nicole Smith has been ordered to bring her little girl, Dannielynn Hope, back to the United States. A court has ruled that the child must undergo paternity testing to prove once and for all whether photographer and former beau, Larry Birkhead is (or is not) the father of the baby.

Birkhead contends that he is the father of the baby. Smith, however, has stated that her lawyer and ‘new husband’, Howard K. Stern, is the baby’s daddy. In a statement to the press, Birkhead said, “Christmas has come early, and I thank God that I will soon have the opportunity to prove that I am the father ... and eventually hold her in my arms.”

Smith recently returned to the States (on December 15, 2006) to visit a San Francisco court room regarding her battle for a share of her late husband’s fortune. Anna Nicole is also facing problems in the Bahamas, where she currently resides. The home she’s residing in was a “gift”, as she claims, from developer G. Ben Thompson. They briefly had a relationship together. Mr. Thompson denies that claim.

Reality TV is hot, hot, hot. Americans watch a lot of it. Of course, I'm preaching to the choir here, right? Now Nielsen Media Research, the peeps behind the ratings systems in the good ole US of A, have put together the data to support this idea.

Take "American Idol" for example. This series is the king of Reality TV. In fact, it's the king of TV in general. The show had the most product placements on broadcast TV this year. If you watch it at all, you won't be surprised at the number. It's 4,086. Considering Idol airs between January through May, the number is even more astounding. (Wait! Gotta drink a coke right now. Ooops! No coke in the house. I must run out to get some more at the store in my Ford.)

"The Amazing Race" and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" follow behind AI in product placement on the Nielsen top 10. Actually, the only show in the top 10 that's not part of the reality TV genre is "The King of Queens", which comes in at number 8, sandwiched between "The Apprentice" and "Rockstar: Supernova".

"American Idol" also placed pretty high on the top TV programs - single telecast list. It was number one and two on the regularly scheduled telecast list. Tuesday night's performance episode edged out the Wednesday results show by 5/10 of a point only. "Dancing with The Stars" also appears in that top ten.
