Hi all,
Just wish to say thanks to all those who have been reading my blog and articles and participating in the discussions. Wishing you all the best for the holidays. Stay safe on the roads, in the air, at home or wherever else the holidays choose to take you.
This is usually a happy period for many. However, there are always those who are not looking forward to the holidays for various reasons. Of course one possible issue may be a recent diagnosis of cancer whether personally or for a close relative or friend. For others their cancer diagnosis may have been some time ago, but this may be a difficult time for you medically. Your feelings can be particularly overwhelming especially at times like these when others are enjoying the festivities.
Never forget to stay close to your source of support at these times. Graciously and gratefully accept their support. Whether it is a spouse, family member, your church or a support group, many persons will benefit from extra understanding from these sources during this time. For those who have found a unique support group, feel free to share this with others in the discussion forum. Also, please let us know how you are coping by participating in the poll on the front page.
Finally, I have also recently started a section on the latest cancer research. This segment page will lead you to specific articles on up-to-date information hot out of the research labs. They will cover issues related to the biology, etiology, diagnosis, treatment, prevention and other aspects of cancer. Remember to check back frequently for updated information.
