Family Newsletter

Developing a yearly family newsletter is a popular way that families use to keep in touch with friends and relatives that they don't get to see regularly. Some families will send out their newsletter on a quarterly basis, while others choose to make it a once-a-year highlight. Either way, it is a lot of fun, and the whole family can be involved in developing your very own newsletter. Here are a few tips to get you started:

Newsletter Software Programs

Family Contributions and Tips

  • Young children can contribute by drawing pictures. You can simply scan the pictures and add them as pictures into your newsletter program.
  • Older children can write about their sports involvement, school achievements, etc.
  • Moms and dads can write about work, family life, and vacations.
  • Don't forget about any big news like promotions, awards, etc.
  • Include a recipe and craft that your family particularly likes to do or make together.
  • Include photos to show how much everyone has grown, or even downsized.
