Spending time outdoors can be one of the joys of summer. But if you're like me, you'll have to pay careful attention to apply sunscreen and keep yourself hydrated, so that summer and the sun don't take their toll on you.
I've already treated one friend this summer for heatstroke, and I did so using essential oil of peppermint and a liquid mineral supplement I carry with me whenever I'm away from home, for just that purpose. Minerals are the foremost thing that your body needs to bounce back quickly from sunstroke or to repair damaged skin after a burn.
More advice on how to treat and prevent heatstroke available in this week's natural medicine column!
