December is a Busy Month

The holiday season is filled with errands that never seem to end, large parties, small get-togethers, family dropping by and large dinners to prepare.

It is difficult to think about the gardening season with the cold wind howling outside and the general exhaustion the holidays bring. For those of us who garden even in our sleep, there are plans to be made in winter which will determine how well our vegetable gardens produce when the weather warms in a few months.
