We tend to say that stress is the cause of a lot of our problems. So if you have neck pain or neck discomfort, what does that mean? There are so many reasons for neck pain and so many explanations. The way that I understand stress is this:
If you are under stress for any period of time and you don't find ways to offset or unwind from it, you will probably start feeling it physically. Your breathing may change. Your immune system may become compromised. Your muscles tension may become chronic. Your level of tolerance for more stress will decrease.
I think that everyone is unique in the sense that we have all come from very different backgrounds. We differ genetically, have different life experiences, different pain tolerance, different reactions, and different ways of dealing with stress.
