Here is a quick and easy way to make signs that will give them that professional look without the expense of professional signs.
Materials Needed:
Yes, Cricket machines accept contact paper. You can design impressive yard sale signs that will get everyone to your house or make signs for the baby’s arrival. It occurred to me the other day to try contact paper in the Cricket when I came up against the tedious task of making signs. I was so excited about how perfect it worked. Just think of all of the applications you can use it for. Make signs for the wedding shower to make sure all of your guests can find it easy. Make fun signs for the retirement party that can roast the retiree at the same time. Have fun with the different fonts, shapes, and pictures while changing out the different colors and styles of contact paper.
You simply cut it to size like any other paper and adhere to the cutting mat without removing the contact paper backing. That part is very important. It will stick to the sheet using the adhesive of the cutting mat alone. After the letters are cut, remove them from the cutting mat and then peel off the backing. All that is left is for you to stick them onto the poster board in any creative flair you choose.
