Scrapbooking Embellishments

I think you are really going to love this one. You can make lettering for your scrapbook pages any size and style you like. You can try all different color for the floss as well as the background fabric.

If you know someone who loves to scrapbook and they are having a new baby or grandbaby they would love to receive a set with the new babies name to use in their scrapbook.

Look at your cross stitch and embroidery magazines for even more ideas. You can even use cross stitch fabric instead of material. In this way you can actually use a pattern you have for either the lettering or the embellishment of the lettering. Use a floral design or graphic design to add dimension to an ordinary letter.

You can even add other elements. Why not try either embroidering the letters using ribbon instead of floss. Or embroidering in floss and making ribbon flowers to add a three dimensional element to the surface of your letter.

You can hot glue tiny wedding rings or miniature baby bottles to any of the letters. Get really creative and see how far you can take this idea. I think you will even surprise yourself.
