Millions of people everyday are going home from work and relaxing by playing poker on line. If you have ever watched poker on television you will see many old professionals use a chip protector. It doesn't actually protect their chips. It is more like a good luck charm.
Poker players do take take their chip protectors seriously. There is everything from little plastic sharks to photos of children. It was reported that one player paid $300,000 for a chip protector of another player to be willed to him.
I made a chip protector the other day for someone and it took probably less than five minutes. I used the Tag Maker by Making Memories and simply traced the circle template on a photo, cut the photo out and sealed it with the tag maker into a ring the size of a poker chip.
The size and shape made it very easy for the person to slip the chip protector into their pocket for good luck and if they choose, they could take it out and put it on top of their chip stack for those critical moments.
It was fast, easy and a personal stocking stuffer that will give them enjoyment for years to come.
