I was traveling last week and found myself in a casino. When I won a nice jackpot, I asked the casino security if I could take a picture of the slot machine screen. (Cameras were never allowed in casinos but with the birth of camera phones they are finding they can't prohibit them.) They agreed and told me each time I won a jackpot I could photograph the screen. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the photos but we had so much fun on vacation that I knew when we were home, these pictures would make me laugh.
On the drive home I started thinking about what I could do with the photos and remembered the
placemats we made a couple of weeks ago. They are not a placemat I would use everyday but that's the beauty of the design. You can make many different placemats easily and switch them out to meet your needs.
Now every time my husband and I are wishing we were on vacation, I will put out those placemats to make us smile. I have photos of the vacation area we love in summer and winter and can use scenery of our favorite places and memories too.
