Now is the time. Keep watching your favorite craft stores for the sales. You can get some really great deals this time of year. You need to keep you mind wide open.
I was in a craft store the other day and they had 70% off of all of the stitchery kits from Christmas. Do I need a stitchery kit from Christmas? The answer is a definite no. But when I looked at what was included in the box I would be foolish not to take advantage of the deal. One box included felting needles and a foam block plus the roving I would need. It also included embroidery floss and fabric for stitchery. Will I use those throughout the year? Absolutely. Just because a design is printed on one side of the fabric doesn't mean I won't have a blank on the other side.
I figured out if I bought the pieces individually they would have cost about $30.00 what I was getting for $5.00.
Look at the needlecraft kits that include embroidery floss and needles. That alone will cost you the price of the kit. The fabric and embellishments are extra. That doesn't even include someones design work included in the package.
There are great deals on those kits that include everything you would need to make a scrapbook or crochet a scarf. These are the kits they only offer at Christmas and want them out of the way to begin bringing in the next holiday merchandise. Use if to stock up to encourage the next generation to begin their crafting ventures.
