We have all seen those plastic pumpkins kids carry to collect treats. Buy one for each light you have. Using an exacto blade, cut out the bottom and slide it right over your light. During the day, you will have cute little pumpkins, at night they will light up and take on an eerie glow. Just right for Halloween.
Here's another one, buy a full size pumpkin for each solar staked light. Carve the pumpkin as you normally would. You can make them all the same or all different. Now line your walk with them. Pull the solar light stkes out of the ground and embed them in the pumpkin. Push them far enough in that the edge of the to of the light blends into the pumpkin. Do not replace lid. During the day your solar light will soak up the sunlight only to use it to illuminate your jack-o-lanterns at night.
