Father's Day and the Kids

If you have a craft space or craft room you know it can be difficult to keep it organized. I have found the only time it is easy to keep my craft room organized is when I don’t use it. Where is the enjoyment there?

Think about the things that really give dad pleasure. What if he really likes to work in the garage but it has gotten out of control. Things have not been put back where they belong and there are tools in the house and in the junk drawer.

For very little money you can pick up pegboard and hooks. Attach it to the wall of the garage or basement securely. Arrange the hooks and allow the kids to organize the screwdrivers and hammers, etc.

Now purchase one or two of those small chest of drawers that hold screws and nails. Let the kids sort those into the individual drawers.

Continue through his whole man space.

Dad will love the surprise and be thrilled that he can actually find the ¾” socket when he needs it.
