Easy Candle Gift

Try this one if you need a gift in a hurry or want to liven up your own candles.

Materials needed:

  • super glue
  • copper wire
  • 6-12 beads in a variety of sizes
  • pillar candle

Bend the end of a 16" length of wire about a half an inch. Beginning on the other end, add the beads to the wire.

The half inch that you bent get poked into the candle at the base. Super-glue it in place. You are now going to wind the wire around the candle leaving a bead or two here and there as you wind. When you get to the top edge, cut the wire to give you a half inch to poke into the candle. Glue into place.

Try curling the wire in spots or adding charms here and there. Make them very personal to the recipient by what color and embellishments you choose.

Most of all, just have fun.
