Eating Disorders, Depression and Unemployment

Depression is a common factor relative to eating disorders. Additionally, there may be added factors as well, such as unemployment, anxiety, etc. I am planning to look at a number of factors that impact eating disorders, then summarize them in the blog. Based upon the material I am finding, I do not think I would be able to summarize or integrate everything properly in an article.

From my initial research, I am locating articles on eating disorders and depression, but do not find articles about eating disorders and unemployment, or the three together. Therefore, my plan is to research out what I can find about depression and eating disorders and unemployment then summarize and integrate them on the blog.

Please, comments are welcome, especially if you have comments that are helping you survive some tough times. Certainly, if they are helping you, they will help someone else as well.

If you are male and reading, please communicate. I know for men this is a little harder to do. You certainly do not have to give your name, if anonymity helps. However, again, everyone please know, vulgar or insensitive comments will not be accepted. It is the policy of Suite to be helpful, not hurtful.

Thank you!

Thank you for your comment. If I can find information, I will write about this condition. I appreciate your suggestion.

Going forward, it sounds as though seeking an opinion from your personal care physician would be the first step to take. Either that, or contacting an eating disorder treatment professional in your area.

Do not be ashamed or afraid. I don't think there is a human alive who isn't struggling with something or other. But only you can make the decision to go forward.

There could be any number of reasons "why". Trained professionals would be able to help you sort it out. Maybe there's a medical reason for the behavior. Again, licensed, trained treatment professional can help you sort it out. Thank you for writing! I'm sure your comment will help another. Good luck!
