Harvard Business School's study of 300,000 random Tweeters... Twits... Twitter-ers... found that on average, men are twice as likely to follow other men as they are to follow a woman. Seriously?
It appears so. Women are also 25% more likely to follow men than women.
This seems to contradict the theory that the activity on social networking sites typically revolves around women. For more on this interesting study, read the full article, Twitter Trends: Why Do Men Follow Men? in the June 3rd edition of The New York Times.
