Blogs for Grandparents, Seniors

With Baby Boomers spending more time online than ever before, it's getting harder to find quality stuff to look at. Here are some good blogs from seniors and about seniors. If you enjoy reading these, your next step is to create your own. This is a movement bound to become strong and important.

I realize a lot of blogs, at the beginning of the movement, were just rants from people who wanted to be noticed, and there are still those type around. You know, the blah blah blah about how much the writer's neighbors annoy him or the harrangue about how lazy the writer's husband is. But more frequently, we are seeing intelligent people research the topics they're passionate about and share their results and ideas. This is the people's medium.

Tune in.

Soul Food Cafe - by a really cool woman, purveyor of creative stimuli.

My Boomer Place - an alternative to My Space for the over 50 bunch. It's getting off to a slow start, but might be worth a look. A place you can create a blog, too.

Blogging in Paris by Claude Covo-Fachi, born 1947 - general this and that. Good style.

Little Red Hen by Naomi Bloom, born 1933. Peace, politics and yarnlife after 60. Great!

TimeLog by Bill Murray, born 1942. Excellent discussion of history cycles and their impact. Fascinating.
