Some asked me the other day if we need to take supplements. If we eat a healthy diet, do we really need to take a multivitamin or anything else for that matter. I said yes. Sadly, out food travels over hundreds of miles to reach our plates. The longer your food spent on the road, the less nutritious it is. If you can eat locally or grow your own garden, more power to you. Actually, everyone should try to eat more local produce and other foods if they can.
I have serious brown thumb, and a mad desire to grow a garden full of organic healthy veggies. I have tried several time to no avail. I am no gardener. There are some local farmers markets in my area. They are open one day a week so, I really need to plan ahead to go.
Being interested in nutrition, I often wonder what the celebs are up to. The web site below is a fun site that appears to put allot of celebrity diet , exercise, and body image type stuff. Check out the cellulite section if you need a lift:) heehee!
