I am in the process of writing an article about Swarovski crystals and jewelry. I'm familar with the brand but I've never had the opportunity to visit one of their retail shops.
A visit was made to a good sized Swarovski retail shop located at the Millenia Mall in Orlando, FL. The mall is a mess parking and traffic wise. Orlando drivers are possible the rudest drivers I have ever encounter. Yes, yes I know there are alot of tourist driving in Orlando. However, it is quite easy to look at a Florida tag and tell the difference between a rental/lease and a resident vehicle.
To limit your time fighting the traffic circling the mall - the Swarovski shop is located on the first floor quite close to The Cheescake Factory and Brio's Tuscan Grille (which are easily visible from the parking lot).
Once I got inside the store the entire experience was a pleasure. Customer service was stellar and the set up of the shop was very shopper friendly and well laid out. Less expensive pieces of jewelry are set up on display racks so you can freely browse. More expensive pieces of jewelry are in cases.
I purchased a gorgeous pair of $40 earrings. The customer service I received was commensurate with the purchase of a $100,000 designer diamond necklace at Cartier.
A second trip was made to the shop a few days later. This mall is the closest to the Orlando attractions and on this trip the shop was full of tourists. However, even though the sales personnel had their hands full with existing customers I was still greeted in a pleasant, friendly fashion.
First class costume jewelry and customer service - I highly recommend this shop should you live in the Orlando area or be visiting for business or pleasure.
